It’s Not What You Know, It’s Who You Know

This is a ‘phrase’ I’ve heard banded about quite a lot in business discussions. Usually, in my opinion, by people who use it as a reason as to why they’ve not got the customers they’d like.
My take on this is:  “What you know, leads you to who you know.”
