Carl Hopkins
Carl lives in Brighouse and people will know him in many guises as his marketing and business experience spans 25 years during which he has built up a tough, no-nonsense reputation.
Most recently he starred in Channel 4’s ‘The Secret Millionaire’ where he spent ten days in the once thriving colliery town of Easington in the North East. Carl was given the task of finding and helping out groups and individuals involved in community projects. At the end of his time in Easington he ended up giving away £42,000 of his own money to worthwhile causes.
Alongside his successful media interests, Carl is known as one of the North’s leading marketing and business development ‘gurus’. Carl recently sold his marketing company JDA for millions and rather than ‘retiring’ he now runs kloog, a business ‘angel’ service where he shares some of the experiences garnered in his career with other businesses. Services kloog offers include business audits, business investment, personal mentoring within business (The Tor-mentor) and off-site presentations and workshops for a variety of topics such as creativity, sales, advertising, marketing, success and management (klooguru).
Carl is now busier than ever, having become involved in a number of Yorkshire businesses, speaking at various high profile business events and developing not only kloog, but his other business interests including JumbleAID.com, sporting-supplements.co.uk, Joblink-systems.com, agencybods.co.uk and partiesaroundtheworld.co.uk
